Robert Lee Telford Science Library History
The Telford Science Library is a branch of the Washington and Lee University Library and serves the following disciplines:
Biology
Chemistry
Environmental Studies
Geology
Mathematics
Neuroscience
Physics and Engineering
Psychology
as well as the rest of the Washington and Lee community. It includes a reference section, current and older periodicals, and a circulating book collection. Books and periodical titles may be searched in the Annie catalog, and online resources may be accessed through the University Library website.

Reference/Research Assistance is available to anyone using the Science Library, Monday-Friday from 8.30 a.m. to 4.30 p.m. If you have a question, please inquire at the circulation desk. You may also request a research appointment or get virtual assistance from a librarian via instant messenger.
During the academic year the Science Library is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. During the Summer and vacation times during the academic year the Telford Science Library is open 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM Monday through Friday.

The Telford Science Library is located immediately inside the Science Addition (number 56 on this campus map), which is next door to Leyburn Library. You will enter on Level 3, which is the main floor. There is also an entrance to Level 2 from the Great Hall.
