Description: EconLit, published by the American Economic Association, provides bibliographic coverage of a wide range of economics-related literature. It is an expanded version of the Journal of Economic Literature (JEL) covering both economic theory and application, and indexes journal articles, working papers, books, articles (chapters) in collective works, and dissertations. The index covers over 750 journals. Over 80% of all current records include abstracts. Book reviews published in the Journal of Economic Literature since 1993 are provided in fulltext. Coverage of some titles extends back to 1969. Updated monthly.
Usage Tips: Combining Terms   To find records containing two or more terms, type the words in separate boxes connect by "and." (The boxes connected by "or" are used for searching for synonymous terms.)
 
Phrase   To search for a multi-word phrase, simply type the words in the proper order. Example: economic development
Truncation   You may search for variations on a term by entering a minimum of the first three letters of the term followed by an asterisk (*). Example: inflat* finds inflated, inflation, inflationary, etc.
