Usage Tips: Using NetLibrary   While you are using this book, nobody else at W&L can open it. When you are finished, be sure to click on the "Close Item" option near the top of the screen, above the left-hand column. Otherwise, this book will be unavailable for 15 minutes.
To open the book, click on "View this eBook." The next screen will display a graphic of the book's cover on the right side of the screen and a copy of the table on contents on the left side.

Browsing   You can use this table of contents to navigate the book.
To open the section of the book containing the entry you want, click on the appropriate plus sign (+) and then the appropriate sub-section. If you instead click on the chapter title, you can page through the entire contents of that chapter.
Searching   To search for a particular word or phrase within the book, click on the "Search" option, on the left side of the screen, then enter your word(s) within the "Search this eContent" box.
At the bottom of the contents list is the "Index," which provide page numbers, but no direct links to pages.

Navigating   Once you have opened an article, you can move from one page to another only by using the "Next" and "Previous" buttons, near the upper-right corner of the screen.

Printing   You may print only one page at a time. Use the Adobe Acrobat "print" icon (image of a printer), in the bar immediately above the article.

Be sure to click on the "Close Item" option when you are finished.
