Who was Ada Lovelace?

Ada Lovelace (1815-1852) is considered by many to be the 1st computer programmer.
She envisioned the algorithmic possibilities of a theoretical “Analytical Engine” in the mid 1800s. Because of her groundbreaking impact, “Ada Lovelace Day” serves as a celebration of women in science, technology, engineering and math.

Why Edit Wikipedia?

Wikipedia is an innovative experiment in crowd sourcing information, with over 31 Million editors for English Wikipedia alone! Wikipedia covers a wide variety of content…and a wide variety of editors with different backgrounds and expertise helps guard against content bias and inaccuracy.

Everyone is invited! Help for new editors will be available!

Bring your laptop & power cord. Edit whatever you want.
A list of women/STEM related articles that need editing will be available.
