For example, here is the result for Lexington, Virginia.

Online Newspapers and Other Mass Media Sites

This is a page elsewhere in the W&L University Library site which lists resources providing geographically-arranged links to mass media Web sites.   Mostly newspapers, but also magazines and other media.

In addition to the above online resources, the Washington and Lee University Library also has two print-only annual publications which are highly respected in the profession.  The most recent editions shelved in the Reference collection.

Editor and Publisher International Yearbook   --  Multi-volume set contains state-by-state, city-by-city directory of dailies, weeklies, specialty publications and more.    (PN 4700.E42)

Broadcasting & Cable Yearbook   -- State-by-state, city-by-city directory of broadcast and cable television, radio stations, networks, etc.   (HE 8689.B77)
