FINDING JOURNAL ARTICLES

Use bibliographic databases to search the scientific journal literature.  The best for Animal Behavior are described and linked below.

Scopus

A competitor to Web of Science, Scopus is also quite exhaustive, with a bit more focus on social and behavioral sciences.

JSTOR

A great resource to search the older scientific literature.  Be sure to select your discipline(s) or journal(s) toward the bottom of the search screen.

PsycINFO

Produced by the American Psychological Association, includes information on animal psychology.  On the advanced search screen, select "animal" as your population.
