The Washington and Lee University library catalog is being re-designed — and we would like your feedback.
A link to the new design is on the library’s home page as Library Catalog (Beta).
We think the new design looks more streamlined and displays the results in a clearer way. But, we could be wrong…
Let us know what you think. Try out a search or two -– maybe the simple Keyword search earth day, and any other searches you can think of -– and then fill out the brief survey on the new site’s menu page.
We appreciate your help.
Books checked out to Washington and Lee undergraduate students were due at the end of the Winter Term.
If this applies to you, save yourself the crippling social stigma of having overdue library books and fines by returning or renewing your books before the start of Spring Term. Renewed books then will be due near the end of the Spring Term.
The possibilities include:
- renew some or all of your books online via our Web site’s My Library Account option;
- call us @ 540-458-8643;
- bring your books into Leyburn Library or Telford Science Library.
Questions should go to Elizabeth Teaff, Access Services Librarian.
The “W&L Publications” display area on the Main Floor of Leyburn Library is now featuring an array of 2010 journal articles written by members of the Washington and Lee University faculty.
Included are copies and reprints of individual articles, as well as entire issues of journals.
Please feel free to borrow an item or two, and then return them when you finish. These materials will be on display until Friday 29 April.
A more extensive list of publications from W&L faculty is available in the library Web site.
