Dear Mary,

Finding that - at least -one wagon (Womindorrf 's) hadn 't been to yr. house today. I send you a basket by way of remembrance. The pears of course are to ripen in a drawer. Tell Capt McDonald the roses are rather imperfect - blooms of some of the roses I & the remarkable want him to take cuttings from & the remarkable oranges I found on one of them (Page 2) this morning goes with them.
