Main Floor

  • Library Posters by Lance HidyIncludes the poster the artist designed for the dedication of Leyburn Library in 1994.
  • Paintings by Louise HerreshoffBorrowed from the Herreshoff collection at the Reeves Center. Near the the South entrance. Rotating collection.
  • The Seriously Overdue Book . Shows a long lost book and the press coverage this event received when the book was returned to the library 145 years later.

 

Boatwright Room

(Level 1)

  • The Library of Liberty Hall. Books that survived the burning of Liberty Hall, this campus' first academic establishment. Also includes copies of scientific tools used during the time of the Academy.

 

Lobby Area

(Level 1)

  • The Roger Mudd Collection of First Editions of Southern Literature.    Featured authors rotate every few months.
