L-F Undated

My dear Mrs. Glenn

I was so disappointed the evening we spent with you that I did not have a little talk with you after tea to tell you that how much I appreciated your kind thoughtfulness of Mary and myself.

After considering how (Page 2) we could retain your gift in some enduring form I have chosen a very pretty lama-lace shawl; - the possession of one has long been a pet wish of mine, and I shall enjoy wearing this one especially, as a proof of your kind interest in me, and your old friendship for my father and mother.

(Page 3) Hoping your are not suffering from this damp weather, and with love to Miss Annie, Miss Mary & Lucy, whom I hope to see in a day or two, as I am going to the country the latter part of next week, I am very affectionately

Yours.

Agnes Lee

Saturday Morning.
