I send you my dear Ella by Mary a very poor representative of myself & a good one of Genl Lee which you must take with you to the your Northern home where we might otherwise fade --?-- memory - Would that I had some thing more valuable to offer and a bridal gift But tho poor in this world 's goods I can send you the wealth of many prayers & wishes for your future happiness & prosperity -
