Results are listed in order of relevance -- the location and frequency of search terms within an entry. To find entries containing two or more words, simple type the two words. Example: ethics media finds entries containing those two words. Search for multi-word phrases by enclosing the terms within quotation marks. Example: "stem cell" Search for forms of a word by using an asterisk (*). Example: cell* will find cell, cells, cellular, etc. The Advanced Search allows you to focus your search on text within subject areas you specify, to search for the author of encyclopedia entries, and/or to search for words or authors within entry bibliographies. Subject Guides This option, within the red navigation bar near the top of the screen, offers you the ability to display all the articles within broad subject areas. Article Delivery The only way to print articles is page-by-page, using your browser's printing capabilities. This resource provides no separate e-mailing or downloading capabilities. | |
