Jobs in the Washington & Lee Libraries

Introduction

Washington and Lee University strives to recruit and retain exceptionally qualified faculty and staff who are committed to the values of the University. We work to provide compensation consistent with peer institutions, enhanced benefits, training opportunities, and work-life initiatives that allow employees to be successful at home and at work.

The University Library is committed to recruiting and retaining a diverse community. We joined the ACRL Diversity Alliance in 2022, and are active in several other initiatives to support the recruitment and retention of minoritized library staff and faculty. We are also working to improve the accessibility of our spaces and services (see https://library.wlu.edu/accessibility.html), focusing on improving the sense of belonging for library users and employees alike.
