Plagiarism and College Students

The 2 August 2010 edition of the New York Times includes a very interesting article which provides a pretty good overview of another way in which “information” has changed in the eyes of contemporary college students.
A lot of this is familiar territory these days for those who work in higher education, but it is always eye-opening to be reminded how wide-spread and multifaceted the problem is.

We would like to remind W&L students and faculty that the University Library maintains a collection of resources designed to help researchers avoid plagiarism.
