The University Library joins the rest of the Washington and Lee community in welcoming to campus nearly 200 candidates for the Johnson Scholarship from Sunday to Tuesday (March 3 – 5).
We hope you will visit Leyburn Library and Telford Science Library while you are here. If you have questions, please feel free to ask any members of our staff. (To start with, we are # 45 on this campus map.)
- There are several “guest” computers, allowing password-free access to the Internet, located in front of the Information Desk in Leyburn Library. Among other purposes, Johnson candidates can use one of these computers to print airline boarding passes, without any charge.
- If you are interested in wireless access from your own machine, please follow these instructions from the W&L ITS: “Find the wireless network named wlu, connect, open a Web browser, and then enter your e-mail address.”
- From Monday morning through the overnight hours (we are open 24 hours/day), Leyburn Library will offer free hot drinks (coffee, tea, hot chocolate) to all of our visitors. The libations are available in the “Book Nook” area on the Main Floor.
- On Monday afternoon, from 1:00 to 2:00 PM, we also will be hosting a Study Abroad poster session on the Main Floor.
Again, please let us know if you have questions. Have a great time and good luck!
