    China of the Most Fashionable Sort.   Northen Auditorium.  
    Description from the University Calendar:Lecture by Suzanne Hood, Curator of Ceramics at Colonial Williamsburg; Chinese export porcelain has been called one of the first globalized commodities. Suzanne Hood uses surviving objects, archaeological, and documentary evidence to show just how much porcelain ‘made in China’ came to America in the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries.  Free and Open to the Public.”
