Washington and Lee students who are preparing capstone papers, honors theses, or other researchprojects might be interested in this brief program on their rights as creators of such works. For example: Who owns your paper?
W&L University librarians will speak and answer questions about students’ legal rights as authors, about procedures for the archiving of capstone paper and honors theses, and about sharing original work with the world — or not.
The session will take place on Tuesday 5 April in Northen Auditorium, from 7:00 to 8:00pm, and will be significantly enhanced by free pizza.
Questions should be directed to Alston Cobourn, W&L’s Digital Scholarship Librarian.
